Join us for a day

And meet the whale sharks

Whale shark season in Nosy Be runs from September to December; the best time to see them is in October and November. You can join us for a day in the water to swim with whale sharks, as our team goes out daily with clients. Contact Les Baleines Rand’eau directly either by email or phone ahead of time as it is the busy season.

From 2019 onwards, you can also request a private trip (4 people max.) with project founder Stella Diamant. On this trip you will learn more about our research and get to know whale sharks by their names, as well as get personalised photos.

Please contact us with your dates ASAP.

Join an organised trip

Project leader Stella Diamant will be hosting the project’s first expedition to Antetikireja in November 2019 with Natural World Safaris.  *** We are fully booked for this year ***
